TRAINING TO REDUCE THE DEATH OF CALVES

Practical training to reduce the death of calves has started in South Western region.
Dr. Yohannes said that the training on reducing the death of calves that started as a country and the farmers are watching and observing it with their own eyes and showing their interest in it is to continue.

Training to reduce the death of calves has started at Abaynesh milk resource farm located in Bonga city of South Western region Kefa zone. The farm has not recorded any deaths of calves, and it has shown results from cattle handling and feeding. It has produced 400 litters of milk a day. It has helped the farmers who participated in the training to gain knowledge and experience.
The training will be given in other districts in the coming days.
