Ethiopia: A Nation of Unity
Ethiopia is a country comprising a multitude of nations, languages, cultures, and religions, which coexist in a complex and dynamic manner. This diversity is the foundation of Ethiopia’s reputation as a country of unity.
Message from Mr. Kaleab Kahali
In a message pertaining to the day’s activities, Mr. Kaleab Kahali of the Awi National Administration Youth and Sports Directorate posited that the participants in today’s “Tiger Day” events serve as a reflection of unity.
Mr. Kaleab put forth the notion that the human body, its attire, and its corporeal form are inextricably intertwined. Therefore, it can be argued that the human condition is inherently beautiful, loving, and unified.
Health and Exercise
The necessity of preventing non-communicable diseases related to lifestyle has been indicated by the society through the implementation of daily exercise routines. It was emphasised that the institution will maintain its commitment to providing support to this sector.
Call to Action
In commemoration of the celebrated “Hibir Day,” the official put forth the proposition that we should serve as exemplars, inspiring others to become healthy citizens through the practice of exercise. It is recommended that this programme be incorporated into our daily activities, rather than confined to commemorative holidays. It has been demonstrated that a minimum of 30 minutes to an hour of exercise per day can significantly contribute to the maintenance of optimal health.
