National Volunteer Social Development Service Trainees who are being trained in Jimma University have distributed food to the poor.
The 3rd round of National Voluntary Community Development Training organised by the Minister of Peace is being held at Jimma University, Jimma Technology Institute.
The Jimma Institute of Technology Scientific Director, Engineer Ephrem Wakjira, Jimma Technology Institute Deputy Scientific Director, Engineer Jemal Worku and the institute’s top leaders and peace minister representatives and coordinators were also been present.
The trainees have done a lot of work in social service and the great work at the university to beautify the the environment.Today is Christmas, for those who are in Jimma, for those who couldn’t spend the holiday with their families due to various problems, the authorities have left their daily lunch and performed charity work.
Jimma Institute of Technology Scientific Director Engineer Ephrem Wakjira expressed his gratitude for the good work done by the university and the institute and said that we will do charity work with the national volunteer community development service coaches.
The management said that, they will continue their different works in the future and they have sent a happy holiday message to all followers of Christian faith.
