The Ministry of peace in collaboration with Wachemo University has graduated volunteers who have been training for the fourth round of the National Voluntary Community Development Service Program.
The graduation ceremony was started with religious leaders and country elders.
Minister of Peace, Mrs. Hirut Delebo, Minister of Peace, sent a message to the graduating volunteers during the graduation ceremony, she said that the Minister of Peace is doing a lot of activities with stakeholders to ensure sustainable peace and national harmony. Mrs. Hirut Delebo said that the youth volunteer community service program that was started with the idea of “goodness for unity” is to pass on Ethiopian values and principles to the young generation and has a dream of removing divisions and doubts based on different identities and increasing the love of the youth for the country and the people.
Mrs. Hirut, who said that volunteers should have a heart for charity, also urged the youth to do things that raise the spirit of Ethiopia during their stay in the community.
The president of Wachemo University Dr. Habtamu Abebe said that the university is working on sustainable peace besides teaching.
The university said that it is fulfilling its national responsibility by training volunteers for four consecutive rounds in cooperation with the Ministry of Peace.
The Ministry of peace has trained more than 1300 trainees in Beye wachemo University on its fourth round program.
The Peace minister leaders and coordinators, Wachemo University administrators and campus communities, Hadiya zone religious fathers and country elders, Hadiya zone leaders, national volunteer program regional coordinators and other invited guests.

The fourth round of “Goodness for Togetherness” youth volunteer service trainees graduation program is being held at Hawassa University.
Charity for Togetherness Youth Volunteer Service 4th round trainees graduation program took place at Hawassa University Agricultural College.
The 4th round volunteers have been attending trainings that enhance life skills, physical fitness and attitude maturity for the past 22 days.

VoluntaryMinister of Peace National Voluntary Community Service Program Chief Executive Mr. Gemechisa Itcha said on the inauguration program “Volunteering is an opportunity” and it is a program where youth contribute to building peace by enhancing Ethiopian principles and values.
Creating physically and mentally competent youth is the main goal of the training and congratulating the volunteer youth.
Hawassa University President Dr. Ayano said that peace is above all things; to use the grace given to us by nature, peace is needed more than anything else.
Aklewum urged the youth volunteers to use the knowledge they got from the training to serve their country in a good way.
The 536 volunteer youth who graduated today will be working in all parts of our country for the next 10 months.
