For the first time, Ethiopian government officials in Oda Bultum district are doing some real work. They’re working as a team to remove weeds from lake Haramaya to turn it into a historical and tourism attraction.
However, it’s stupid of them to remove the waterlilies, as they’re part of the eco system that feeds both birds and fish and plays a very important role of sustaining life for both fish, frogs, etc.
