The 18th Ethiopian dojo Championship was held between 6 regions and Dire Dawa city administration and it ended yesterday.
Harari region finished first in the youth round by scoring 42 points in the championship that was held in two divisions.
The Dire Dawa administration scored 158 points in the championship and won a gold and a trophy while Harari and Somali region finished the competition being second and third.

The Ethiopian Wushu Sport Federation executive committee member and technical department manager Master Ahmed Abdulkadir said that the competition will help to select qualified candidates for the upcoming continental and international championships.

Ethiopian dojoThe number of regions that participated in the championship has increased yearly.
Coaches of Harari region and Dire Dawa administration said that they have been able to select players who are capable of organising internal competitions to win the competition.
In relation to this, they have done a lot of work to fulfil the potential of the competitors including preparing a comfortable place.
Competitors who competed in different foreign sports and won gold medals expressed that they are happy with the results and gained experience from the competition.
The Ethiopian Wushu Championship with more than 200 participants was held in Harar city and has ended with various programs.
