Ethiopian Women’s Senior League Competition Kicks Off in Hawassa


The 2017 (Ethiopian calendar) Ethiopian Women’s Senior League competition started today in Hawassa, hosted by the Sidama Regional Football Association.
The competition between 14 clubs is one of the competitions organised by the Ethiopian Football Federation.

The Sidama Regional Football Association is proving to be the best federation to host national tournaments. In addition to the current competition, the federation is hosting two other national tournaments, demonstrating its ability and commitment to developing football in the region.

Ensuring Smooth Operations

The association is working harder than ever to ensure that all three national tournaments go off without a hitch. Two of the tournaments will be held at the Hawassa Artificial Field, while one will be held at the Hawassa Agricultural College. The Sidama Regional Football Association is committed to the success of these events and is actively present at each field to oversee the matches.
