World Vision Ethiopia inaugurates 6 water and sanitation projects in Amhara State.
World Vision Ethiopia has inaugurated six water and sanitation projects in Harbu Woreda, North Wollo Zone of Amhara State.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by senior officials of the Amhara Regional State and World Vision Ethiopia.
The projects will benefit 52,400 citizens, including health facilities and schools.
Edward Brown, Director of World Vision Ethiopia, said at the inauguration ceremony that our main focus is on water, which is very important for life.
“We will continue to work with partners and stakeholders to ensure that all communities have access to safe drinking water,” he said.
World Vision Ethiopia has provided health, education, clean water and food security services to 112,450 people in Harbu Woreda since 2007.
Last year, the organization invested more than $ 20 million and provided 1.6 million people nationwide with access to basic health and water services, according to World Vision Ethiopia.
