A military agreement has been signed between Ethiopia and South Sudan’s Chief of Staff.
A delegation led by South Sudan’s Chief of General Staff, General Johnson Juma Ukot, met with his Ethiopian counterpart yesterday to discuss military issues between the two countries.
Ethiopia and South Sudan sign agreement on military matters
Today, they have reached an agreement on the issues raised and signed a petition.
According to the Defense Forces, the agreement includes the exchange of military security information between the two countries, jointly curbing the smuggling of people and weapons across the border, strengthening military diplomacy, and working together in various military activities, education and training.
