The Resilience of the Amhara People: Pursuing Their Objectives Amidst Conflict

The Amhara people remain steadfast in their pursuit of their goals regarding their continued existence, historical legacy and reputation. Despite the ongoing conflict, the Amhara community is determined to maintain its identity and protect its heritage.

The “Final Campaign” and Its Implications

The fascist regime of Abiy Ahmed has pledged to launch what it calls the ‘final campaign’ against the Amhara people. This campaign is aimed at destabilising the Amhara state and making it ungovernable. However, the Amhara resistance, led by the Amhara Fano, has been effective in undermining the enemy’s military capabilities through a people-based resistance strategy. Up to 90% of the army has been deployed, with the regime relying heavily on its manpower, including infantry, special forces, mechanised military units and air force equipment sourced from across the country.

Assessing the Enemy’s Strength

The Information and Security Wing of the Amhara Fano Gondar Command has reported that the enemy has deployed significant numbers of military and combat troops to carry out this “final end” campaign. This includes the redeployment of TPLF fighters who were recently pardoned and released from prison and were previously accused of treason. These fighters have been redeployed from peacekeeping operations to the Amhara region, increasing their numbers and capabilities.

Tactical Adjustments and Outcomes

In response to the enemy’s numerical and technological advantage, the Amhara resistance has adapted its fighting tactics to achieve favourable results. Despite the enemy’s aggressive response, including four drone attacks and the deployment of air force attack helicopters over the past eight days, the Amhara forces have managed to hold their ground.

Ongoing Military Aggression

Regime forces continue to launch attacks against Amhara people using a range of military means, including drones, helicopters, medium-range rockets, tanks, artillery and mortars. Areas such as New Era, Michael Debar, Derbbia Aimba, Abnat and Qara have been subjected to numerous attacks, resulting in the targeting of innocent civilians. In addition, many Amhara intellectuals, investors, youth and public figures in urban areas have been arrested and taken to undisclosed locations.

The Struggle for Survival and National Ownership

The battle phase is nearing its end, with the enemy relying on a borrowed army to sustain its efforts. Despite these challenges, the Amhara Fano Gondar Command continues to strategically lead the fight across large areas. The battles that have secured victories in various zones are intensifying, demonstrating the resilience and determination of the Amhara people.

A Call to Arms: The Amhara People’s Struggle for Survival and Legacy

The Amhara people are determined in their struggle to secure their existence, preserve their historical heritage and protect their reputation. In the face of the ongoing conflict, they are called to stand firm, continue the struggle and keep the promise of victory. Here are the key calls to action for the Amhara people:

1. The War for Survival

This conflict is a war for the survival of the Amhara people. Their enemies are determined to destroy them and it is imperative that the Amhara stand united and fight back. The enemy is seen as a force that wants to extort, destroy religion and devastate the land. Every Amhara, especially the youth, is urged to take up arms and defend their heritage. The only true judge of Amhara is Fano, the traditional defender.

2. Resistance Against Oppression

The OHDP (Oromo Democratic Party) is accused of trying to make the Amhara stateless. The regime’s Prosperity Party (PP) is seen as superficial, lacking any higher purpose beyond daily survival. In this genocidal war, regime sycophants who betrayed their own people are now consumed by the regime’s own wealth and opulence. This highlights the fundamental nature of the regime and the ethnic basis of the conflict.

Middle and lower level leaders who have served the regime will be given the opportunity to redeem themselves by supporting the Amhara people. The call is extended to all regime sycophants in the leadership, police, strike forces and militias who are nearing retirement. They are urged to join the struggle as Fano will continue to take action against those who do not heed this call.

3. Economic and Physical Warfare

The war against the Amhara is not only physical but also economic. Amhara farmers are being asked to keep their guns as a guarantee of their freedom. They are encouraged to continue their agricultural activities, harvest their crops quickly and engage fully in the struggle for survival.

4. Overcoming the Enemy’s Strength

The enemy forces invading the areas of Gondar are strong in numbers, weapons and technology. However, the active and popular struggle led by Fano will ultimately reverse their advances. The Prosperity Party’s genocidal army, lacking a clear purpose, is surrounded by resistance wherever it goes. Despite the enemy’s best efforts, they have been unable to change the facts on the ground.

For a lasting victory, all Amhara Fano must work together to defeat the enemy. By building barriers, planning together and sharing information, they can restrict the enemy’s movement and secure their land.

Conclusion: The Unbreakable Spirit of the Amhara

The Amhara people will never break, even in the face of a genocidal war. Their struggle is just and true, rooted in the history inherited from their ancestors, the builders of the nation. Like their elders, they will continue to write history with their blood, creating a sea of resilience and crossing generations to the land of freedom. The Amhara struggle will not stop as they have created a generation capable of not only defeating the enemy but burying them once and for all. The unbreakable Amhara will continue to fight for their existence, glory and history.

The Amhara people’s struggle for survival and national ownership is a testament to their resilience and commitment to their goals. The elimination of external threats and the preservation of their heritage are crucial to the Amhara community. As the conflict continues, the Amhara people remain united in their efforts to protect their existence, historical legacy and reputation.
