The happy trigger Ethiopians are responsible for Ethiopia’s backwardness, and loss of life. No country can develop when its citizens are always captives to gunmen. The culture of one group of Ethiopians using violence to subjugate their own people must end. Without the end to violence, orchestrated by politicians and happy trigger thugs, the culture of Ethiopia being the beggar of the world, will not end. The failure to mobilise and feed the vulnerable members of society, and instead feed killers, is what politically bankrupt regimes do.
Once the face of pride has now become the face of shame and genocide.
The regime of Criminal Abiy Ahmed and his cronies spend more time killing and teaching Ethiopians how to hate and kill their own people. The taxpayer’s monies don’t build an inclusive society, but instead is spent on fuelling ethnic and regional hatred. The political class, instead of politicising their electorate, how to overcome poverty and ignorance, they teach how to hate and kill political opponents. One would have attributed it to ignorance, but not the case. The Ethiopians in diaspora with their exposure to a fairer society, have religiously participated in the promotion of gunmen, and have offered both monetary and political support to killers and human rights abusers in Ethiopia.
The federal political arrangement of Ethiopia is flawed, as it doesn’t address the equal distribution of the national cake. The institutional discrimination does not address the lack of development in southern Ethiopia. The Ethiopian Federal government has not addressed the equal representation of Hamer, Bashada, Benna, Karo, Kwegu, Nyangatom, Dassanach, Mursi, Suri, Bodi, etc, people. This has resulted into political power being an exclusive occupation of the north and central Ethiopia, because they have many happy trigger gunmen, they can use to subjugate others and dominate power.
When you have a country that has selfish and politically bankrupt gunmen running the show, you end up with a society that is corrupt and violent. Without a peaceful country, the checks and balances become a luxury. That’s why human rights abuse become the norm. Without the respect for human rights, minority groups become the victims of abuse and ridicule. Thus, the Omo valley people, don’t feel part of the Ethiopian phony political federation, as they don’t have happy trigger gunmen and are not represented in all social aspects of the country.
The culture of violence and discrimination in Ethiopia, has not enabled marginalised groups such as the Nilotic, Nilo-Saharans, Welayta and Gamo to raise their voices, because society refers to them as tribal, instead of Ethiopians.
The Abyssinian and Ethiopic colonialism has not empowered other nationalities, but dehumanised and exploited them. Today, all the gunmen killing each other, don’t represent the interest of Southerners, but the exploitative and fascist machine of Ethiopia political class riding on everyone’s back to coverup it own crimes.
